Just Leave
Ed Miliband is getting it right. He is saying what needs to be said, in that the Liberal Democrat voters via Nick Clegg, are propping up a torie government that is making ideological policy decisions that were not voted in on a popular mandate. I obviously hate Margaret Thatcher, but the only thing that can be said for her is that she was ACTUALLY elected, and not put into power by back room deals and lies like the current administration. I don’t know how I feel about paternity tests, but there is interesting documentation on the internet that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Nick Clegg was a member of the Cambridge University Conservative Association. This is a fact that he denies, which positions him really as the liar that he has proved to be. The only dignified exit for him at the moment is to resign as the head of the Liberal Democrats. His leadership that brought him into coalition with the tories has resulted in the full scale demolition of his party which may never recover in our life time. Many people who have supported the Liberal Democrats in the past are Labour disaffected labour supporters. They could be considered middle class liberals who are not necessarily socialists, but who do not believe in the Conservative Party project of the small state. The only hope for the future of the Liberal Democrats is for Clegg to resign, giving them some hope of once again being some sort of force in local governments.
