American Job Crisis

In America President Obama and the Republican Party are planning on slashing social programs (even though they disagree on the amount) despite the fact that the American people are facing a job crisis that shows no sign of stopping. Then what good will a HR software be to anyone if no one is going to hire.
There are over 14 million people in the US who are unemployed. The official unemployment rate at 9.2% doesn’t even fully show the real effects of the crisis. Of those unemployed only 7.5 million will receive some unemployment insurance that leaves almost 7 million more people without any assistance.
Both political parties are showing indifference when it comes to the job numbers. Instead of taking measures to relieve this massive unemployment Obama is planning to have massive cuts and handouts to big business. Obama has been just as much as a puppet for corporations and banks as his predecessor was.
So the political establishment is deciding to slash social programs, eliminate business regulations and continue huge tax cuts for the wealthy. Obama has even threatened to stop sending out Social Security checks if a budget deal is not reached. About 20% of people in the United States depend on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid for their income.
The idea that there will be mass unemployment in the great capitalist bastion of the US is an indictment on the capitalist system itself. Governments all over the world, as the puppets of the banks are slashing wages, cutting jobs and eliminating social programs.
Capitalism is incapable of meeting the needs of the population and therefore should go the way of the horse and buggy. Socialism is the only viable alternative in which production is controlled democratically and serves the interests of the social need not private profit.
